What the guide shows
Seven days of listings for the live channels. The player downloads the guide at first sign-in and refreshes it in the background from then on.
You see what is on now, what follows, and what is on later in the week, and you open a channel from the listing rather than scrolling the full list.
Catch-up
On most channels you can scroll back in the guide and play a programme that has already aired, inside the window that channel allows.
Recording
In TiviMate a programme can be recorded from the guide to a USB stick or to the box's own storage.
When the times look wrong
The guide takes its clock from the device. A game listed at the wrong hour means the device time zone, or the guide offset in the player, points somewhere other than where you are.
- Choose your own Canadian zone on the device: Pacific, Mountain, Central, Eastern, Atlantic or Newfoundland time.
- Keep the guide offset in TiviMate or IBO Player at zero; only change it if you want the listings shifted on purpose.
- MAG and Formuler boxes use ca.pool.ntp.org as the time server.
